The Gift That Keeps On Giving

We have now been in SA for almost one month, which is absolutely crazy to think about. O how fast time flies! Much has happened, much has been seen, and much has touched each of my teams' hearts. We have drawn close to one another and close to the one true G0d.

I want to talk about the gift that keeps on giving. Everything we do here is a gift that is continued to be given to others, for we are not here for ourselves, but we are here for Chr!st and Him alone. He has given us the g0spel, a stewardship, to share to all, and those who receive it are to share as well. He has also given us the ability to love and O how we love! Not a day goes by do we not love on the lost, that we do not love on broken children, that we do not love on orphans. These two things, the g0spel and love, are gifts given to us from above that my team and I share here to everyone below in this dark land. And love is given to us and the encouraging testimony of Chri$t's work is shared with us. So much happens here it is hard to put it all into words.

For the majority of the weeks we go to our beloved orphanage and there we play with the kids, we tell them stories, we teach them English, and we always pour love on one another. Every morning that we go my team receives 52 hello hugs, and every time we leave we receive 52 goodbye hugs. They cling to us, they beg of us to not go, but of course we must leave. Those children are our babies and we are their mommies and it is a beautiful sight!

Thursday we went to our oldest Indian brother's school and had a blast with village children that do not hear about the L0rd everyday and that are raised in Hindu homes. Friday we had the blessing to lead a VBS for one of the Compassion schools here. There were almost 300 children there that we played games with and sang with and danced with and told stories to. It was an exciting time, an energy draining experience, but so much fun nonetheless!

I am sorry if this post is random and doesn't really talk about one specific topic (and if it is too short), but as I said at the beginning, so much happens in one day. We thank you all for your pr@yers and support and ask that you continue to lift us up to our F@ther. Though this is a dark land, He shines brighter than a thousand suns, and He shines through us four girls and through all the bel!evers here. He is a gift that keeps on giving, and O how we desire to give people such a gift!
