Strengthen Us.

"We continually ask G0d to fill you with all the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the L0rd and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knoweldge of G0d, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience."  - Colossi@ns 1:14

This passage definitely covers some of our most crucial pr@yer requests! We are desperate to know the Father's love more deeply. Adjusting to an entirely new culture that lives in almost complete darkness really challenges the knowledge, feelings, and understanding we have about G0d. We'll meet local believers who cry over his written word they have memorized, and we will realize that we haven't taken the time to know his true word. Some of us will be seeing starving children, babies, and cripples for the first time, and we won't be able to understand how a G0d who loves people so much allows for this evilness to reign. The internal struggles we each will face over there are real. They are life changing. South Asia will break all of us. Like herds of cattle, some will travel together, only trying to survive the darkness. But those who focus on pr@ying over these verses will walk the narrow path and find true knowledge, understanding, and life of the father.

We know those closest to us are constantly asking the Father for our protection, but please consider pr@ying for our boldness. May we step out into situations that are risky, fully knowing and believing that there is a G0d who loves us more than you, and he is literally walking besides us throughout the journey.

I can't wait to be over in SA watching my team bear fruit and fight for the kingdom. doG has put together an incredible team of girls (Amber, Kaitlin, Ashley, & Kayla) with individual gifts and personalities. Everyone has been pretty concerned with the lack of male presence on our journey but my wise friend told me:
"Maybe G0d needed more mommies than daddies at the orphanage."
Does that mean there will be more babies to hold & cuddle?!?!?!? Be still my heart, I still have 3 days.

Thank y'all for the pr@yers. I know you'll be missed,

Kayla
